『We Are The World for Haiti』を見るために、バンクーバーオリンピック開会式をウトウトしながら見ていたのですが・・・流れなかったんですが・・・なぜ？？流れたのかなぁ？
あの『We Are The World USA for Africa』が25周年にあたることを記念してクインシー・ジョーンズ(Quincy Jones)とライオネル・リッチー(Lionel Richie)の2人によって企画されていたらしく、ハイチ大地震が起きたことからハイチ救済のチャリティ・プロジェクトに変更されたようです。
で、VancouverOlympicで流れるはずが・・・見そこなったのか、中継されなかったのか・・・orz
前回の「USA for Africa」の時と同様に、「for Haiti」でも寄付されるそうです。
泣けるほど良い曲ですねぇ♪
※個人的には、新しく曲を作って欲しかった・・・
